Isnt that stained glass painting? Tried my hands on it once, since then I started to watch it from a distance :-)
baejaar, this is actually a pavement tile set in a sidewalk. i used photoshop to enhance the colors and change the look of it's texture. i hadn't thought of stained glass but now i see what you mean.
Very dramatic effect. I like your use of colour :).
